Polarized sunglasses reduce glare and improve visibility in bright sunny and cloudy days, making them a popular choice for outdoor activities - whether you’re lounging poolside, driving in traffic, walking over to your favorite coffee shop, or simply drinking hot cocoa in the snow.
Ordinary light is unpolarized, it oscillates in all directions until it strikes a smooth surface. When sunlight is reflected off a surface such as water, asphalt or snow it can lead to distracting glare. Polarized sunglasses use a special filter that is oriented vertically, which allows only vertically polarized light to pass through while blocking horizontally polarized light. This will then block the glare caused by reflected light, making it easier to see while reducing eye strain and squinting.
All the Teux sunglasses have 100% UVA and UVB protection.
Our goal is to be as transparent and provide as much knowledge to all of our customers. Please note that NOT all “sunglasses” have UV protection. Wearing sunglasses without UVA/UVB protection can give a false sense of security, leading to irreversible sun damage. Sunglasses should have at least 400 nm UV protection, or say 100% UVA and UVB blocking. Once again, having a dark tinted lens does not mean your sunglasses are protecting your eyes.
Ultraviolet (UV) is broken down into: UVA, UVB, & UVC. UVC is absorbed by the ozone layer, whereas UVA and UVB can penetrate the earth even on cloudy days. This can be harmful to the eyes and surrounding areas increasing risks of skin damage (ex: certain skin cancers/hyperpigmentation/wrinkles), pinguecula, pterygium, cataracts, and/or macular degeneration.
The New Era Collection was designed to fit most face shapes easily.
- Daybreak, our oversized square frame, is a universal shape, meaning it will match any face shape.
- Dawn, our modified cat eye was created in a way to flatter many face shapes as well, however this will be most suited for an oval or round face shape as its lifting features will create a more subtle upward angular effect.
- Both styles are unisex.
Our child sunglasses are suitable for children from the range of 5 -13 years old. Please keep in mind the age range can fluctuate based on the size of the child’s face/head. Using The Grip sunglasses strap can help keep the Teux sunglasses in place.

Our sunglasses do not have prescription in them, however you can take the frames to your local Optometry office and see if your prescription is eligible to be added. All of our lenses have a base curve of 4.
Keep in mind there are many factors that go into putting a prescription into frames so we cannot guarantee your prescription will be a good match with our frames. During this process, if your Teux sunglasses are damaged, we will not be held liable.
Italian Mazzucchelli Cellulose Acetate - these frames are biodegradable & hypoallergenic. All of our sunglasses are handmade in Italy and go through a rigorous 8-12 month process where each pair of sunglasses is manually inspected multiple times to pass a high standard quality check prior to shipping.
All of our Teux sunglasses frames are made with Hypoallergenic Italian Mazzucchelli Cellulose Acetate - this material can expand and contract depending on hot or cold temperatures. Always remember to remove your sunglasses using both hands to grip the temples, instead of using only one hand and minimize wearing them on your head, as it can widen the frames more.
Feel free to stop by any Optometry or Optical shop, to re-adjust the fit of your sunglasses.
We use Zeiss CR-39 lenses which are BPA free, reputable, lightweight, ultra-thin lenses that give you crisp & comfortable vision. We recommend visiting your local Optometrist for more shatter-proof polycarbonate lenses or sports goggles if you plan on using sunglasses for sports.
We decided to use CR39 lenses to increase the longevity and durability of our sunglasses. Teux sunglasses are an investment for the future, not just now.
Polycarbonate lenses are not suitable with acetate frames because in the long term they get foggy as a consequence of the plasticizer (phthalates) contained in the acetate and therefore deteriorate the sunglasses in as short as 2 years.
Keep your sunglasses in your jet set pouch when not in use. Avoid leaving the sunglasses in your car exposed directly to the sun as this can warp the lenses. Minimize wearing the sunglasses on top of your head to prevent misshaping of frames and stretching of the hinges. Use your Signature Teux cleaning cloth to clean your lens regularly. In addition make sure to clean your Signature Teux lens cloth in the washer to ensure no additional dirt or debris is stuck on the cloth that can scratch the lens.
No, we recommend getting polycarbonate sports goggles for more impact resistance.

Returns / Exchanges / Shipping
Returns & Refunds
- We have a 10-day return policy, which means you have 10 days after receiving your item to request a return.
- To start a return, contact us at info@teuxofficial.com with your name, invoice number, and mailing address.
- If your return request is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how to proceed.
Returns Eligibility
- Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on FINAL SALE items, however if you have used a discount code at checkout, you may still be eligible for a return.
- To be eligible for a return, ALL items must be IN NEW/UNUSED CONDITION -this includes sunglasses and signature packaging (including: lens cloth, pouch, head strap).
- Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
- We will notify you once we’ve inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not depending on the conditions of items. Items must be shipped in the same conditions as sent to you - Bubble wrap signature Teux box with ALL ITEMS INSIDE to ensure full refund. If the signature Teux box has tears/damage, please be aware that it will be deducted from the final refund.
- If approved, you’ll automatically be refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.

Exchanges
- We have a 10-day exchange policy, which means you have 10 days after receiving your item to request an exchange, only valid once per order.
- To start an exchange, contact us at info@teuxofficial.com with your name, invoice number, mailing address, and exchange item requested.
- Exchange items must be in new and unused condition. If your exchange is accepted, we'll send you a shipping label on us, as well as instructions on how to proceed.
- Unfortunately, we cannot accept exchanges on FINAL SALE items, however if you used a discount code at checkout, you may still be eligible for an exchange.
All Domestic US shipping is by USPS or UPS. We provide free standard shipping (3-4 business days) on all Domestic US orders over $70. Please allow 2 to 4 business days to pack + process your order before it ships. Orders placed on Saturday, Sunday, or any national holiday will be processed within the following 2 to 4 business days.
Teux is not responsible for any lost or stolen packages. Please keep in mind orders during holiday season or poor weather conditions can delay the actual shipping. You will be given tracking information as soon as the item is shipped.

Yes! Once your order is processed you will receive a confirmation email followed by a notification email to inform you that your item has been dispatched. In this email, you will find your tracking number.
Please inspect your order upon arrival, if the item is defective, damaged, or you received the wrong item, contact us immediately at info@teuxofficial.com so that we can make it right. Damage or missing claims made after 3 days of receipt will not be honored.
Unfortunately, once the order has been shipped we are unable to change or cancel orders. Please be sure to double check all the information prior to submitting your order.
